Everything you have now, or ever will have is a result to one extent or another of your own MINDSET.
How you see the world and yourself in it – what you choose to accept and believe is possible or impossible for you will shape your actions and your actions determine your results in this life.
If you want to do better in business – and in life – then start by INTENTIONALLY developing, maintaining and continuously improving a better mindset.
Evidence for You to Consider
Think about this for a few moments. What do you want to do? What kind of business would you like to start and have? What is your idea of success? How much money would you like to make and how do you want to make it?
Now think about this. Are there other people you can find right now that are doing what you want to do and achieving what you want to achieve? Or at least something very similar.
Of course there are!
Pretty much any business idea you can come up with somebody else (and often thousands of people) are already doing it successfully each and every day right now!
If you can learn what they are doing and model their success by doing the same things they are doing – then you can begin to get similar results too.
That should also give you hope and inspiration, and a place to look again when you are tired and exhausted from working toward your goals – and make no mistake – if you want the prize of success then you must pay the price for success – and that is hard work.
Sorry, but if you are looking for get rich quick with no work schemes – you are definitely in the wrong place. For that matter, there is no right place either – because they do not exist. If you want to build a successful business let alone multiple businesses you must be motivated, be driven and ready willing and able to work your butt off to get what you want.
Now back to my point.
Find other people who are achieving results that you want to achieve. Learn what they are doing and how they are doing it. Then start doing the same things yourself. Keep in mind that learning takes time and effort and getting good at something take practice and some time – then the skillsets begin to develop and you get better and better at what you are doing.
For example – I could show you specifically and exactly how to back a 53 foot trailer into a tight spot, but when you try it for the first time or two (or 100!) you are not going to be as efficient at it as someone who has years of experience (practice!) doing it. But you will have the fundamental understanding and know what to do – you may take a little longer and have to get out and look a few more times but the end result is you will successfully back that trailer into the hole. You will also gain a little more experience each and every time you do it and you will get better and better at it if you keep doing it.
This applies to riding a motorcycle, scuba diving, woodworking, and anything you can think of and imagine. You can learn the principles, the fundamentals and start getting some practice and you will get better and better.
Of course having the right guidance (information, instruction, training, coaching, counseling, mentoring etc.) can make a world of difference too in both how quickly you learn and apply new skills and what level you ultimately may get too.
It also starts with you making that first decision that you want to take action. Next, I suggest the first action is working on and building a better mindset to help you with all the rest!
